1. Read and Sign Your Agreement before the inspection

2. Pay For Your Inspection - at or before inspection

3. Utilities Must Be On inside the home

4. Get your report 24/7 through our digital system

Read & Sign Your Agreement

NC and SC require an inspection agreement to be fully read and signed before the inspection can start. You can sign it electronically by following the link you received in your email. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions about the agreement.

Follow the Link in Your Email

You will receive an email confirmation that includes a link to read and sign the agreement. Simply click on that link and it will take you to your unique inspection agreement. Once you’ve read through the entire agreement, you’ll see a box at the end that you can use your mouse pointer like a pen to sign the agreement. If you don’t like how your signature looks the first time, hit clear and try again. It takes most people a few tries to get a signature that looks like their handwriting. It’s the same thing as signing it legally. When you click accept/approve to submit it, we will receive notice that you’ve signed the agreement.

Pay For Your Inspection

In your email confirmation, you will have a link where you can pay online with a credit card, or you can use the button below. Payment is due at or before the time of the inspection. You can easily pay with a credit card by clicking the button below. Or you can bring a check or cash to the inspection.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover through our secure payment portal through the button below.

Make sure the utilities are turned on INSIDE the home – Very Important!

There are different definitions of the utilities being on. We need to know that when the inspector turns on the faucet, water will come out, and when he turns on the light switch, the power will come on. Our inspectors will never turn on utilities because there’s usually a good reason they are off. The Seller’s agent can help you verify that the utilities are on.

If the utilities are not on, you will likely be disappointed with your inspection report because we may not be able to inspect the plumbing, electric systems, HVAC systems, gas and more, depedning on which utilities are off. You can see how important it is that they’re all on.

Get Your Report

Our reporting system is fully digital which means you’ll be able to interact with the report online. You can print it out in a pdf format, but it’s designed to be read on a computer. This means that some elements are clickable, like the table of contents, pictures, and videos. You can use the table of contents to jump to a particular section. You can also click on photos to enlarge them or click on videos to play.  Once you have your email and password, you can log-in at any time to see your report, 24/7.

To get your report, you need to login to your dashboard in our digital reporting system. When the report is ready for you to view, we will send you an email with your username and password and a link to the report. The report is always available 24/7 and always password protected. If you lose the email, click on the button below that says “Get Report” and you can still get your report.

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your dashboard and a list of your reports.

If you have more than one report (if you have a radon test or reinspection) scroll down until you see the second report.

The table of contents is clickable, so you can easily navigate between sections.  You can find it in the upper left-hand corner of any page of the report.

It’s easy to create a repair request list using this system. You can send the repair request to the seller and use it for negotiating the deal.

If you have any questions about the process we are always here to help. Just call or email us, or you can use the chat box in the lower right-hand corner of this page you’re on right now.

How to Read a Radon Report

Your Radon report will be available in your dashboard. Once you’ve opened it, it has four pages. The first page will tell you the test summary. This will include the EPA average, which is the number that you really want to look at. This is the number that the EPA uses for all recommendations. Below that is the graph that shows all the readings that were taken during the test. The graph has a lot of peaks and valleys which is normal. There are a lot of things that influence the release of the radon gas, so its the average that’s important. Page 4 has the recommendations for allowed levels. Look for “Understanding Radon Risk Information” and “Understanding Time-Sensitive Testing Protocols”.
